The UC Davis Viticulture and Enology program planted a vineyard adjacent to the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science in 2011.

The Horticulture Innovation Lab demonstration center, started in 2015, seeks to share innovative technologies and practices with colleagues visiting from around the country and the world.
What's Growing: Vegetable varieties common to Africa and Asia, rotating through vegetables such as amaranth, spider plant, African nightshade, nakati, moringa, jutemallow, spinach, pumpkin, squash, cucumber, beans, eggplant, and more.

The Healing Patch Garden features a wide variety of medicinal and aromatherapy herbs - so come on by and take a whiff. The Harvest Garden, found on the south side of the Student Health and Wellness Center, features an evolving selection of edible plants harvested and cared for by the Center’s staff and interns.
